Ancuta Sarca Launches Nike Heels Collection At Browns Fashion
If you like kicks, then you should have put a heel on it (or whatever Beyoncé said).
After beating Balenciaga’s X-Pander and Miu Miu’s low-heeled sneakers, you have to face the latest boss of high-heeled sneakers: Ancuta Sarca’s Nike heels.
For the latest rollout of Ancuta Sarca, the brand is partnering with brown fashion for an exclusive collection of Swoosh mules and pumps.
Ancuta Sarca’s Nike collection materializes in pointy-toe heels crafted using upcycled Nike sneakers, resulting in shoes ranging from $697 FlyKnit mules to $789 neon mesh leather pumps.
Essentially, Sarca, the face behind the eponymous brand, reworks Nike’s diverse assortment of high-tech materials into chic stilettos and kitten heels.
While maintaining its chic sensibility, Ancuta Sarca also hones its athletic side, aptly naming the shoes after renowned sports cars like the Bugatti, Ferrari and Mustang.
When it comes to fashion girls who live as much for heels as sneakers, the Ancuta Sarcra Nike Heels are truly for those who can do both.
Arguably spearheading the trend, the London-based designer is knee deep in the heeled sneaker game, having launched her eponymous brand with the front and center hybrid shoe in 2019.
I mean, the heel of the sneaker is Ancuta Sarca! It’s deeply rooted in the brand’s DNA.
Since the brand’s debut, Sarca’s Nike heels have taken over Instagram and the runways, with some bemused and others utterly obsessed with the designer’s eco-friendly sneaker heels made from old Nike kicks.
With the icon Dear as an Ancuta Sarca heel-obsessed stan (caller: Rihanna is next), I doubt the designer cares about negative comments from internet trolls.
With his heeled Nike sneaker concepts stocked at SSENSE, Harvey Nichols, and now brown fashionNeither Ancuta Sarca nor the sneaker-heel craze is going away soon, especially if Rih gets her hands on a pair.
