In a recent photo for Julianne Hough’s Instagram Story, she shared her love of summer style with fans backstage on her Broadway show “POTUS” on Thursday.
The actress floated in the wind in loose clothing, starting with a lightly pleated sleeveless white top. She slipped it into the multicolored Diotima skirt which showed off a unique drape down the side as it flowed down to her sandals. Together, the top and bottom created the perfect look for summer travel and beach time.
The “Footloose” star accessorized in abundance. With a gold chain that adorned her neck and an adjacent bracelet, she added flavor to the pale colors. For a wet season like this, light colors and fabrics become trustworthy because they don’t attract heat as much. And to protect herself from the sun, the actress wore a pair of black Valentino sunglasses with a slightly octagonal shape and a golden frame. The piece brought cohesion to the game of gold moving in and out of the outfit.
Another golden part of the look was the way she kept her blonde tresses down, sitting gracefully over her shoulders, which gave the attire a sense of causality.
And for support, she could count on Staud’s ’90s-inspired Billie raffia wedge sandals. The shoes featured a square toe silhouette and a wide strap that finished the look with ease, as the outfit demanded comfort and elegance. They sell for $325 on Net-a-porter.com.
