Metro Roundup: Burlington opens new location in Brook Highland
National clothing franchise Burlington Stores recently celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Brook Highland on November 19.
The Brook Highland store is Burlington’s seventh store in the state.
“Our goal is to continue to provide communities with high-value, branded products for the whole family and home,” Burlington CEO Michael O’Sullivan said in a press release. “We are growing and expanding our presence throughout the county and are delighted to open a store in Birmingham. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to experience fantastic prices on a wide range of products. We know they will love the offers.
The new location will feature an updated design intended to make it easier for customers to navigate and find merchandise throughout the store.
The company’s stores carry seasonal, fashion-focused items for up to 60% off prices at other retailers. Buyers can expect to find men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and footwear, footwear, baby items, holiday decorations, pet care, and toys. Burlington also has a layaway program available at most stores. Customers can set items aside at checkout and return to pay for them later.

To celebrate its grand opening, Burlington donated $ 5,000 to Rocky Ridge Elementary School as part of its partnership with adoptaschool.org.
“The funds will be used to support teachers and their classes so that they can purchase the materials their students need to learn better and be successful,” according to a press release.
Burlington Stores is headquartered in New Jersey and ended fiscal 2020 with net sales of $ 5.8 billion. There were 792 stores in operation at the end of the second quarter of fiscal 2021 in 45 states and Puerto Rico.
