Paris Hilton plays Barbiecore in slick heels for InStyle Spain – Footwear News
Paris Hilton brought Barbiecore to life for InStyle SpainOctober issue.
The ‘Simple Life’ star posed for her in front of the Morelli brothers’ lens cover shot, wearing a light pink Versace dress. The ensemble referenced both Barbie’s all-pink wardrobe — a current trend, dubbed “Barbiecore” — as well as her viral Versace bridal ensemble at the brand’s Spring 2023 fashion show. The sleek number featured a low neckline, corset boning and a single gold Medusa medallion on its strap. Hilton’s ensemble was completed with sparkling Swarovski crystal bracelets and a necklace.
Elsewhere in the op-ed, the “Stars Are Blind” singer posed in a range of eye-catching outfits. In one photo, she wore a shimmering black Andreādamo jumpsuit with crystal-covered Aquazzura pumps next to a faux Eiffel Tower. Another photo found Hilton in an elegant black Roberto Cavalli dress with bondage harness-like straps over her open bodice, paired with black pointed-toe Christian Louboutin pumps.
Yet in other images, Hilton epitomized the Y2K glamor she made ubiquitous in the early 2000s. One photo found her in a ruched, silky black dress with silver bracelets stacked on each arm , paired with white Aquazzura pumps. Another saw her lounging against a silky sheet in a pink velvet keyhole-cut dress topped with a flower; a similar backdrop was also used to show her striking a pose in a white cutout bodysuit, fluffy faux fur coat and shiny metallic heels.
The ‘Paris in Love’ star’s shoe wardrobe is extensive. Hilton has worn a variety of pumps and sneakers from Steve Madden, Jimmy Choo and Giuseppe Zanotti over the years, often accented with maximalist crystals or mixed materials. Its footwear rotation also includes Alaia boots, Rothy flats and K-Swiss sneakers.
Hilton continues to build an empire with 19 product lines including footwear, apparel, handbags, jewelry, lingerie, dog clothes and makeup, as well as media projects. “I’m about to release my 29th perfume,” she said.
