(“You have to believe it!”) Adding a touch of glamor to her look: a pair of crystal-strap leather sandals by Amina Muaddi and a Dior choker from John Galliano’s Fall/Winter 2004 collection, which wink at vogueEdwardian Illustrated Covers.
It’s Rihanna’s choice of denim, however, that makes the outfit so compelling: a pair of rhinestone-studded Martine Rose jeans in a mid-rise style that might have come straight out of Lorelai Gilmore’s messy Stars Hollow closet circa 2003 Rih has long been enamored with the British designer’s designs, frequently wearing her double-breasted blazers and football shirts after Demna Gvasalia hired Rose as a consultant to Balenciaga in 2015.
