Sarah Snook turned heads on the red carpet.
The actress attended the 2021 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday night, where she received the TV Actress Award for her role as Shiv Roy on the HBO hit show, “Succession.” She sparkled in a black sequined halter neck dress with a low back and a high slit on Galvan’s legs. Snook tied her bright red locks in a sleek bun and added simple Pamela Love earrings to the look as well as a Stuart Weitzman clutch.

Snook has aligned with the platform trend for its choice of footwear. She wore black satin Jimmy Choo heels that featured a toe strap as well as an ankle strap, as well as a raised 5-inch block heel. The platform style has been seen everywhere this summer and fall, especially at the 2021 Met Gala in New York City.

The high top shoe has uplifted, empowered, hampered, and outraged women for centuries at this point. The style has once again made a resurgence in recent times, with celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Vergara and Chloe Bailey sporting the high shoes on red carpets, at fashion shows and at other VIP events.
Fortunately, the style has also reached the general public. Choose a pair of classic platform heels to pair with your stylish outfit.
