‘The Bachelor’ cast debut in strappy, bouncy heel shoes for Clayton – Footwear News
Everyone’s favorite dating show is back and better than ever. “The Bachelor” returns with Clayton Echard in search of love. The St. Louis native is hoping to find one this season, after appearing in season 18 of “The Bachelorette” with Michelle Young. Now he’s starring on the ABC show, which may follow by making an offer to one of the 31 lovely women. The Season 26 episode preview, airing on January 3, 2022, features the upbeat 28-year-old sales rep mingling with all of the contestants.
Who will end up with his rose? The new season will be available to stream at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, January 3, 2022 on ABC and Hulu.
Below is a recap of how the cast of “The Bachelor” dressed to impress for their presentations.
Teddi, 24 years old
Teddi, 24, from Highland, Calif., Came for a walk in a sheer black dress. The strapless dress was bodycon, made of a sheer tulle-like material. Teddi teamed the black dress with strappy heels.
Shanae, 29, from Sycamore, Ohio, decided to represent her southern roots, donning a cowboy hat to wow the contestants. She went for a glamorous look, opting for a sparkling black mini dress and equally sparkling earrings. On her feet, Shanae wore three-strap sandals over block heels.
Sierra, 26, from Dallas, wore a long cobalt blue dress. Although the back is not visible, there appears to be a cutout detail. Her shoes were tucked under the long hem of the skirt.
Samantha, 26 years old
Samantha, 26, from San Diego, Calif., Made a not-so-obvious choice, opting for a black bikini and nothing else. The look was simple and definitely memorable.
Geneviève, 26 years old
Genevieve, 26, of Los Angeles, wore a strappy pink dress that stopped at her ankles. The dress was embellished with gathered details at the side that created dimension and texture. For the shoes, the contestant wore a pair of sparkly heels, adding a bit of bling.
Ivana, 31, from Queens, New York, wore a sophisticated green dress. The high-low olive green ensemble was the perfect shade. She accessorized with a pair of dangling diamond earrings and strappy gold heels.
Mara, 32 years old
Mara, 32, of Collingswood, NJ, chose to show off some skin for her entryway look. The contestant wore a dazzling high neck cropped top that matched the long skirt she wore at the bottom. The jeweled top and skirt combo was a refreshing change from all the dresses.

Lyndsey W., 28, of Houston, wore a champagne-colored gown for her entryway. The sparkling dress is sure to grab the attention of the public.

Serene, 26, of Oklahoma City, wore a long teal blue dress that stopped to the ground. Serene accessorized with a pair of dangling crystal earrings and what looked like platform sandals.
Susie, 26, of Virginia Beach, Va., Wore a cream one-shoulder dress that was lightly gathered around the torso.

Marlena, 30, a former Olympian from Virginia Beach, Va., Wore a peach satin dress that included a plunging neckline and spaghetti straps.

Eliza, 25, from Berlin, Germany, opted for a shimmering halterneck dress.

Lindsay D., 27, of Jackson, Fla., Also wore a red halter-style dress. The embellished number was backless and included a little train.

Elizabeth, 32, from Highlands Ranch, Colo., Wore a sparkling black one-shoulder dress with sandals.
Mélina, 27 years old
Melina, 27, of West Hollywood, Calif., Wore a hot pink dress with a plunging neckline and a thigh slit. She completed the look with rainbow socks and bouncy shoes.
Rachel, 25, of Clermont, Fla., Opted for a long, olive green strapless dress. She teamed the dress with black strappy sandals.
Sarah, 23, from New York City, wore a dress embellished with gold crystals that included a plunging V-neckline.
Cassidy, 26, from Los Angeles wore a sparkly nude dress with a side slit. She paired the shiny number with strappy heels.
