Winter freezes your style? These items will warm up your wardrobe

Now that the temperatures have finally dropped, it looks like winter weather has set in – and the cold climate is no joke. Fashion follows a certain pattern when the seasons change and this winter is no exception.

Here are some fashion trends to adopt this winter:

Down jackets

Since the weather permits jackets of any type, I highly recommend trying a puffer jacket this winter.

Layering is a great way to stay warm and on-trend, which is why an oversized puffer jacket could completely transform and complete your look. The loose jacket gives off a comfortable vibe that will transform any outfit into a more casual look, and since they are available in different colors, you can mix and match them as you like.

Sweater vests

Not only are sweater vests comfortable, they are also easy to layer with other pieces and can be worn on their own. Plus, they add a lovely wintery feel to any outfit.

Sweater vests can be worn formally or casually. You can combine the cardigan with pretty jeans and a button-down shirt for a see, or you can go for something dressier if you try it with a skirt.

UGG short boots

Shoes can make or break an outfit, which is why it’s important to have a pair that can both beat the cold and keep your look fresh. Tall boots can be bossy in an outfit and difficult to style when wearing loose pants, which is why short UGG boots are right now.

UGGs are usually at the top of the stylish winter boot category, but there are plenty of other options that won’t break the bank while keeping your feet warm. As short wool-lined boots are trendy, there are many more options to choose.

Let’s move on to a must-have that comes back every winter: beanies! Jacket hoods, earmuffs, and headbands may be popular choices, but beanies reign supreme. Not only do the other options spoil the feel of an outfit, they also curl up against the versatile beanie.

Beanies are perfect for adding an extra pop of color to an outfit and expressing your interests with mini logos embellishing the front or back of the hat. As well as being a trendy choice, they’re also great for keeping your head and ears warm.

Leather sets

Leather is another trend that is in this winter. I can’t get enough of the stylish look when I pair leather pants with a blazer!

It’s important to mention that you don’t need real leather to follow this trend – faux leather is just as fashionable and more durable. If you really want to upgrade your wardrobe, consider investing in a leather blazer that you can pair with matching leather pants or a formal skirt.

Winter is just around the corner, so now is the time to shop around and try out some of these trends. With an upgraded wardrobe, you can look and feel your best when freezing temperatures strike.
